We are a soul and we have a personality through which to express the soul that we are. But there is a difference between the two. Soul is selfless and personality is selfish.



Reflection

There is nothing wrong with selfishness so don’t feel guilty when you are selfish. And there is nothing right with selflessness either, so don’t feel proud when you are selfless. Just be aware and be conscious and make the best quality choices you can at any given moment. And be happy with that.

For the next week take a few moments at the end of each day and examine various things you thought, said or did that day, and assess whether you were selfish or selfless. Then be grateful for your awareness and honesty.
