Roaring Tweenies Ahead?
Tuesday February 8, 2011
The mix of Uranian-Aquarius and Aries energies this week gives us a sample of the herky jerky energy to come. In this transmission from the Akashic Records, the energies for February are described as jerks forward. Writes, Jen Eramith, "It is very similar to the feeling of climbing onto a roller coaster and sitting down in your seat, buckling up and when the roller coaster first starts to move, it jerks you forward."
Uranus moves into Aries on March 11th, and Jupiter is the warm-up act, already in Aries. These two energies (Aries and Aquarius) are a sextile (a lesser trine) harmonic. They inspire us to rebel from the usual, and live in a big, celebratory way. But with Uranus, there's an erratic vibe that can feel super stimulating, manic, crazy or any combo of these.
The astrologer Mahala Gayle reminds that the last time Uranus was in Aries, it was the "Roaring Twenties." The 1920s was a time of breaking with tradition, and cultural dynamism with fresh new dances and looks -- the most famous being the Flapper. Uranus rules technology, and Aries is about the new. From Wikipedia, "Everything seemed to be feasible through modern technology. New technologies, especially automobiles, moving pictures and radio proliferated 'modernity' to a large part of the population."
Our time is so different, and there's urgency to quickly change course, as in "evolve or die." The erratic energy allows us to twist and shake out of stagnation. Now is the time when you can be jerked forward in startling, but exciting ways. It's a time to act on your unique genius, be self-taught and self-created, and act on your driving impulse to create.
Staying centered in your heart helps you act with integrity and self-trust. I like the suggestion from Barbara Marciniak (and the Pleiadians), to quickly assess a situation by breathing it through the heart. She writes, "When you focus your attention on your heart center, this connection allows you to compassionately walk into the shadows of life and to safely know the truth. Trusting yourself in the midst of a world seemingly gone mad is a wise use of intention."
As chaos intensifies, and the line between mad genius and madness blurs, acting from your heart helps you walk your highest path.
